About US

Northwest Marketplaces is a community-focused organization that began it's journey with founding the Fremont Sunday Market. Over the years, our family has helped to expand our beloved marketplaces to some of Seattle's favorite local markets like Ballard Farmers Market, Queen Anne Farmers Market and South Lake Union Saturday Market for the past 27 years.

Today, Northwest Marketplaces proudly organizes some of the largest community marketplaces and festivals like the Seattle Street Food Festival that attracted over 800,000+ attendees in 2017 and over $2.1 million in gross revenue back into the pockets of small businesses.

Our company works with clients and community stakeholders to rethink how we activate communities to nurture, create sustainability through celebrating it's own identity, strengthen local commerce and activate public space.

Our clients past and present include Amazon, City of Redmond, Seattle Parks & Recreation, Special Olympics of Washington, Vulcan, Fremont Chamber of Commerce, SLU Chamber of Commerce, CIDBIA.

Our aim is to help celebrate community through affordable marketplaces and programming that serve the purposes of the neighborhood; uniting and tell the unique stories of our local entrepreneurs in Washington.

Family-owned and operated for 30 years, we believe in providing affordable marketplaces in our  city that allows for micro-businesses to open their store front curbside.

Thanks for checking us out and we'd love to hear from you for feedback and ideas!

2019 Vendor Applications

The Fremont Sunday Market is the only drop-in market at this time, which allows new businesses to do two markets before being required to have Membership. South Lake Union & Magnuson Park locations, as well as all pop-ups events are required to have an annual 2018 membership.

While space is never guaranteed, priority goes to our members for placement and allows savings to events.
